Roman blushed as his first thought strayed to the worst possible meaning of proper ride, but he recovered and let one hand control the bike just long enough to pat Raen’s hands around his waist. The trip took about twenty minutes, but most of it was awkward traffic and they managed several times to weave around and get through. Once they pulled near the first store on Raen’s list, Roman drove them around the side to park his bike to the side.
“What kind of store was this again?” He asked while he helped Raen unhook the strap holding the helmet on and then secured the thing to the bike along with his wheel lock. “I can’t wait to see what you do with the apartment. I’ve been lazy for too long.”
